TIER 1 PROJECT
THE FACELIFT

You love your layout — you just don’t love what’s in it anymore. Tier 1 projects focus on surfaces, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures. Walls stay. Structure stays. But everything you see gets reimagined.
What this looks like:
New paint, lighting fixture swaps, plumbing fixture swaps, fresh window treatments, new furnishings, cabinetry refinishing & hardware replacement, wallpapers, decor

Who’s involved:
Subcontractors like painters, plumbers, electricians. Minimal to no General Contractor involvement.

TIER 2 PROJECT
THE REMODEL
Reconfigure - Refresh - Rebuild What Matters

You need more than new finishes, you need the space to work differently. Tier 2 projects involve selective demolition, wall modifications, updated fixtures, and a strategic interior overhaul. A General Contractor is in the mix, and coordination becomes critical.
What this looks like:
Full residence update with mostly cosmetic adjustments, wall adjustments for key spaces, new cabinetry package, new finishes and furnishings throughout. System replacements rather than upgrades.

Subcontractors like painters, flooring installers, plumbers, electricians. General Contractor involvement.

TIER 3 PROJECT
THE FULL BUILD
Start with the Structure, Build your new space​

Nothing is sacred. Tier 3 projects begin with demolition down to the bones; concrete, framing, MEP systems, everything is on the table. These are the projects that require the deepest coordination, the most precise documentation, and the most experienced team in the room.
What this looks like:
Full gut renovation, structural modifications, complete MEP redesign, custom cabinetry throughout, full construction documentation set, permit coordination

General Contractor, architect of record if required, full subcontractor team, engineering consultants. Avenelle manages every layer.
