Phase 0: Project Set-up

We start every project with understanding the project parameters and clients goals. This phase will include a survey of the existing conditions, development of an existing model & research on the property location summarized in an Existing Conditions Report. A solid foundation is what set's up a project for success.

Phase 1: Schematic Design

Once parameters and goals are established we'll move into Space Planning. A series a plan studies will be shared to ensure we explore all options available. Additionally we'll look at color pallets, mood boards, and inspiration imagery to understand functional and aesthetic preferences.

Phase 2: Project Development

After a floorplan is approved we'll progress into project development. Cabinetry, Interior Elements and a Scope of Work outline will be established via our coding system. We'll identify all selections required for the project, design and documents the details and end the phase with bidding and permit engineering

Phase 5: Project Close-out

Now that we have a contractor and permit files submitted the real timeline starts. A typical permit will take approximately 2-months; Our goal is to use that time to finalize project finish, fixture and equipment selections. At the time of construction start, a fully rendered construction set will be submitted with 3D visuals of the new space. Our goal is to have as much information documented for the GC. 

As we wrap-up the design work for the space we'll move into a Design Management focus through the construction process. Weekly site reviews paired with a monthly construction report will provide all parties involved the necessary protections to promote a team-based work environment. If your construction team is excited to bring your vision to life you'll be happy with the end result. 

The last step in achieving your project goals post construction is to have a positive move-in experience. We'll support you in purchasing, receiving storage and final set-up of the interior elements of the space. Wallpaper, Window Treatment, Furnishing and Accessories are all completed after the construction work. We recognize this final step is the real completion of a project, after all this should be fun!

Meet the Founder & CEO

Jaime Avenelle Renard started the company with one simple goal: bridging the communication gap between design professional, the construction community and the client. After working as a dedicated project manager for a local contractor while obtaining her NCIDQ and Florida Design License it was clear the current industry standards were not allowing for a positive construction experience. It just takes one person to commit to understanding the functional needs of the construction community to make a difference. Your projects allow our team to continue our ongoing efforts to reimagine and achieve a new set of "industry standards" that can help shape the future generations to come.
