Avenelle Design & Management is a full-service Interior Design and Design Management Firm, located in the Upper Florida Keys, specializing in local residential and commercial development. Jaime Renard, the Founding Principal, Creative Director & Project Manager, is an NCIDQ accredited, registered Interior Designer in the state of Florida, who launched the company, in 2018, to provide thoughtful, detail-oriented and turn-key design services to property owners in the Ocean Reef Club Community. We do things a little differently; but there is a reason why, every project is different and needs a customized approach. A full-service contract with Avenelle Design will bridge Design Management, Design Services and Logistical Coordination for an hourly rate with an established Not to Exceed Value.

 

Design Management is an important aspect of our culture and area relationships. As part of our design services, we start each project with a project development plan. While we may know we want to update our home or commercial space, it is rare we know exactly what that means or how much that will cost. With ongoing price increases we found it’s better to work with our clients to establish a budget and schedule along the way. Recently honored as a Marquis Who Who’s of America Top Executive 2025/2026, Jaime has worked hand -in-hand with the construction community to establish “best practices” for documentation and communication with clients and contractors. Every project provides valuable insights on how to improve communications, and we recognize the importance of acknowledging when something goes wrong and improving in the future. After seven years of dedicated development and 100+ completed projects;  Avenelle Design & Management is fully prepared to efficiently guide you through the process of developing a project plan that is right for you.

 

Design Services are the foundation of the company. Jaime obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Ohio State University in 2013. Prior to graduation, she started her career with the award-winning Chute Gerdeman retail design and branding firm located in Columbus Ohio. In 2015 she relocated to South Florida and obtained her design license while working for a local General Contractor and completing freelance design work. Her design approach is to understand the wants and needs of her clientele to create a one-of-a-kind design that is personalized. No two projects are alike, unique solutions are always a priority and space planning is where we start. With an understanding of color, pattern and texture paired with knowledge of construction and fabrication processes Avenelle Design provides a unique perspective for design. Permitting & Vendor Coordination is always a part of remodel projects, and we got you covered. As an NCIDQ and Florida Interior Design License holder; with experience in the field, Jaime understands how systems and structure interact within interior space. As well as when and who to ask for professional recommendations as it pertains to systems and structure. Interior remodel projects with less than 50% of existing space with minimal systems modifications can typically be permitted directly by Avenelle Design & Management as an interior remodel permit. If systems or structure are impacted Avenelle Design & Management can facilitate the required engineering with partner vendors Seacoast Engineering and MEP Design Group. Preferred vendors, contractors and tradesmen are also utilized to further understand how solutions can be reached for specific site requirements. We work in a small community; it is important to support each other. 

 

Purchasing & Logistics was added to our service offerings in 2021 after a few years of requests. We now have a network of 50+ vendors for furniture, fabrics, wallcoverings, and so much more. Unlike most Design Companies, we don’t make our money on purchasing, we provide it as a curtesy service. Any discounts I can obtain I’ll pass along to you, we just ask for a 30% coordination fee to cover our time, overhead, and insurances. We can purchase and ship to your preferred receiving company, or work with you to coordinate in-house receiving and storage. We’ll discuss purchasing after we have our project fully developed and selections tentatively in place.
